Definetely pay rise headline that one, it has worked for the Gowans all century so it should get a response from the sponsors so it does not influence the salary cap.

Heard this a couple of months ago and not from anyone who worls in a sports memorabilia shop either.

You'd imagine if he does go it'll free up a fair amount of space under the Dog's salary cap.

Not disputing that, how could I?

However I DID hear a few months ago that he was considering returning home. Time will tell I guess.

I wasn't responding to you Topsy - but your mate, Lemon Lime.

He would no doubt free up a lot of cap space, if he were to leave.

Callinan is in Tassie on his honeymoon, that is all. Dropping lines like he did to the media is a subtle way of hinting at more money from Central. Greedy bugger, he's already on $50k!

The North Adelaide Football Club would like to announce the signing of Daniel Ward for Season 2008. Daniel will add much needed experience to our league side after the loss of Bamford, Howard and Hart and we expect him to become an integral part of of our push for the Finals in 2008. Daniel will start training with the main group on the 26th of November and on behalf of the Club we wish Daniel, Mel and baby Rylee an enjoyable time at the Roosters!

Daniel's Record is as follows:
136 AFL Games with Melbourne FC
31 Goals
8 AFL Finals with Melbourne
2006 Season: 17 Games - 325 Possessions @ 19.1.
2007 Season: 18 Games - 331 Possessions @ 18.3.

In - despair, misery and ineptitude
Out - hope, pride and professionalism

:D

Heard a whisper there'll be some recruiting news soon.

My point was that Callinan is better than anyone you could get with that extra cap space.
