Cmon South and Norwood, support the Dogs and send them to the SAAFL. Call their bluff and lets see them in the SANFL reserves for a trial period first.

Tippet obviously wasnt such a bad bloke after all

No, I'm not confident. I do know we won't be in the reserves though.

I can't be bothered trawling through the posts, but I reckon you claimed you were 85% confident of the reserves proposal getting up a few days ago.

What changed your mind? Wasn't Chiggy obsequious enough towards the AFC in his address last night?

I still think it is more likely to happen, than not.

So you're not confident it will happen, but you think it's likely to happen.

You read it first here folks!

Why hasn't the crows consulted a fans representative group?

If the people on here aren't representative, how about getting a group that is in the opinion of all the clubs involved?

Based on the info nights that have gone ahead, aren't you concerned that the clubs aren't consulting or taking into account their members views?

The decision rests with the Club directors and how they deal with their own fans is probably up to them. I think the Clubs that did have information nights would have provided some useful info for members. Reports I had from my Club's meeting (the Eagles) were positive. Not everyone agreed with everything said but that's how it was always going to be. David

But it seems the Crows are happy for the local clubs to disregard the views of their members? Is that true?

SANFL may not be top of the pops for a majority of kids in the age group I work with (11-13 y.o) but I can tell you the Crows and Puffs are totally uncool, man. Actually I'm shocked and surprised how many go for interstate AFL teams - except of course the big percentage who prefer the round ball game, with rugby gaining ground every year

This doesn't match up with the stats the SANFL collects at Auskick clinics or on school visits. Crows and Port dominate the landscape.

And that is without the AFC having a Sanfl presence .. Can you provide any insight into where future supporters of traditional Sanfl clubs are going to come from?

Meanwhile i noticed there is a thread over on the Crows board titled "Crows young fellas" which is all about the young ones at SANFL clubs.
It's been there over a month and is now up to a remarkable 15, no not pages, REPLIES. Thats how much interest is in the Crow reserves from crow supporters

David, have any of the 8 directors who will be voting on this proposal been offered personal incentives from the AFC?

That will depend on the final arrangements with the SANFL, if it proceeds.

Like a true politician! So where will revenue come from? The paltry 40k? Or the tv sponsorship the crows will take under the guise of filtering to the clubs?

If he thinks it is unrealistic to expect between 2000 and 6000 fans to go to SANFL games involving the Crows, that's his call.

Not surprisingly you ignored the pertinent parts of the questions. Those being that Bohdan suggested the Crows have admitted to the fact that their figures were just made up as part of an attempt to bluff their way in and the question as to whether this is him lying?

David, interesting you say "my club". You're not a member nor are your kids. How many games have you attended this year? How many crows reserves games would you attend next year?

Or is Stephen Trigg a liar?

The SANFL will either offer the Crows a spot in the league comp or not, depending on the votes of the directors. But I think there will need to be unanimous agreement to work with the Crows, for the Club to accept any offer. David

The club to accept any offer?

My lord, the hubris in this statement is breathtaking.

Yep pretty basic really

Just a shame media like the Crowvertiser has its own agenda and hasn't picked up all on the lies, contradictions and make believe coming out the club.

 you cant be serious Boon! The AFC have their proposal and PAFC have theirs. Im sure Kochie couldnt give 2 sh*ts about AFC. He is no doubt working on getting what is best for PAFC. PAFCs model should be far more of a worry as I have mentioned before and would see them easy account for all sides in the comp. But hey thats fine by you isnt it?

At least their current proposal while selfish shows some respect to the comp and at least shows they want to be a 'club' in our comp not just a franchise reserves.

Well that would stand for the AFF then wouldn't it,both would be stocked with AFL listed players? :?

Do we need to go through the whole football development path way Port Adelaide offer compared to the franchise at West Lakes again?

also, the powers proposal was rejected, so they have left it at that. they respect the comp enough to abide their decision (at least for now)

the crows initial proposal was rejected so they started massaging, tweaking, threatening, lieing, blackmailing, dummy spitting, pressuring, bribing and cajoling the sanfl to get their way. they expect the sanfl to bow to their wishes and view us as an unruly child....
