The full game is up on ABC IView.

Watched it last night and didn't realise how well Toumpas played and how much of the footy he got. My heart was still sinking watching the last quarter on replay. I think it was FlyingHigh who said everyone had a meaningful contribution and this was really the case. The whole 21 stepped up and I'm not sure the Eagles could have played much better than those first 3 quarters.

Ominous signs for next year when Central get back to full strength. The Eagles will need to improve again with one eye on the future to make sure we cover the likes of Powell, Cica, Parry etc. when they retire - possibly after next season.

This will lift the SANFL up another notch in my opinion , as 7 other clubs will just see a bit more of a chance to jump up and do something special even if the Dogs are standing in their way ! Having said that Glenelg going PINK for a Day and announcing another new coach , well , maybe I should have said 6 clubs

Well done and shows he knew he made a slip up.

Not the first time a player has said the 'F' word after a Grand Final and probably won't be the last. I recall a Norwood player dropping the 'F' word when interviewed by Mark Aiston early in his media career. Mark was somewhat nervous  about the consequences about the 'F' word going out on live TV. I think it was the 82 GF.

Let's hope that these great numbers can be translated into higher attendances at home and away games next season!

Good news if those figures are around the mark. Certainly looks like a healthy number in the brewery pic in todays paper. Also really good crowd there on Sunday night considering a work day the next day, such a great atmosphere and lots more than 2006

Congratulations to the Eagles.

They deserved to win. Their skills were excellent while we fumbled. They ran into space while we kicked long to the opposition. And their kicking for goal was superb with a few outside 50s that really hurt us.

I am proud of our guys who tried their hearts out to get in front but they fell short. Beaten but not disgraced by the better team on the day.
We used to be good :-(
