Both teams were rubbish... Sturt controlled the game for most of the first three quarters, but Port's defence continually rebounded and Sturt got nothing for their efforts... Port on the other hand only had fleeting moments where they did something, in particular a 5-6 minute patch in the second which got them 3 goals. In the end, I think Sturt just lost the ticker, couldn't keep pressing and pressing for no reward and so Port got their tails up and finally were able to kick the corpse while it was down. In the end though, based on skills, or lack thereof, both teams are pretty crappy... but kudos to Port, they hung in and go the points deservedly. You can't kick 1.9 over two quarters and expect to win.
