Would be very welcome back at the Parade, if you're referring to Brad Vassall?

mmmmmm i think clubs but West should stay away wont be worth the transfer fee and use of one import spot gone.

Could he be speaking to the Eagles, he would know Scott Welsh pretty well and they would fit his criteria of trying to win a premiership within 2 years.

West will only want him if he is coming for the right reasons, unlike Scott Welsh. If he doesnt play for us, the $25,000 transfer fee will come in handy. Eagles might be once bitten twice shy after Welsh only lasted one year and only played about half the games he could have this year due to injury (heartstring ;) )

No surprise to see that.

Came over to the Eagles with a fairly big reputation,

from an outside point of view he seemed to be the whipping boy at the Eagles.

Never really lived up to expectation.

I dont understand where this "fairly big reputation" came from. His form at the eagles was very similar to his form at the VFL cats. An occassional good game, games with a good quarter or two and games where he wasn't seen. Seems fairly normal for a forward pocket/flanker player.

I think the problem was "RON" announced him as "OUR" marque player.when the eagles didnt recruit anyone else.
Put big wraps on him that made it hard for him to live up to that.
I had heard similar about him the vfl
I did like watching him on a good day :)

One of the sad stories of football is Trent Henshall. Loved him as a Crows player and wish him every possible success at the Eagles ...just not against Norwood though.
Love to see ex AFL players returning to the club that gave them their start so I hope he goes back to Westies. Can see the fit actually. Dont see him as fitting into the Norwood long term plan.
Maybe Port Power after the merger will give him to the Magpies as part of the1.36 mill ?

Was having a beer with a 'senior' bloke from Eastern Park FC last weekend up at the Blacksmith (One Tree Hill) and he had just got back from Darwin with the EPFC Footy Trip.

Said that Zac had committed to playing with the Demons again now that they were in Div 1...

Must be offering Gum quite a bit then. I know another club enquired about his services for quite a good price but he turned them down because it wasn't enough money.

Defintatly has not committed to the Demons just yet, he will be giving the NAFC a shot and if that fails he will play at EPFC.

Yep confirmed , I was told a week and a bit ago by one of his team mates at Henley, took it as a possible.
