Do you wanna take back that comment BPBRB, (west never played with ward in their sums, he was never an option at 30, we have walsh and brown and a 30yo to join them was never going to happen FACT

Why would he take back his comment when all it was doing was putting the article in context and stating what was actually said not written. :?

Now, Wedgie... You're not reading into the actual meaning instead of written word are you?

I'd have a crack at Denis Iljcesen (never played league footy for eagles - went to henley before heading to south) Has played some handy league games for south. Don't know why he would be considering a return to eagles as he sighted lack of opportunities as the reason for leaving in the first instance and ronny is still coach so I wouldn't have thought his chances this time around would be any better. None the less I think has the potential to be a really good league footballer and would be a handy in for the Eagles.

Why would they go after Ellis and Iljcesen again

Both were crap at the eagles!! Go and stay gone! :?

Agreed on Ellis woodwt but Iljcsesen was never given the opportunities he deserved. I believe he would be a handy pick up given opportunities to impress.

Funny if he did come back the eagles need more forward options but i would have thought a smaller forward .
If Twomey comes with him neither will feel alone .But both have league games under their belts which is what the EAGLES need.
I still think that clean out of the seconds at the end of 2006 is bitting the club in the butt.

Both would be handy pick ups - it's also good to see that Passador and Grocke have agreed to stay on in 2008 as well after fielding job offers interstate. Salter must be an interesting one will he or won't he go in the draft and if he goes will he stay in sa. I would love to see him suit in the eagles tri-colours in 2008. What are our actually confirmed signings for 2008 at this stage.

I still think the EAGLES need some small forwards and with the power asking Jarrad to a try out perhaps another wingman.
