General consensus is that Norwood doesnt want to be seen as the lone resistance and if we are the only ones who vote NO and the Cows get in we could be singled out. Dont forget that Norwood dont have a recent good history with the league.
I just hope we stand firm

That's why some with good knowledge of what goes on at the NFC think he was foolish for speaking out.

I have just got Home from Norwood Football Club's member information night and our answer is categorically NO!!!

So many rumours and false statements going around!!
But Joe did say at the 2nd last meeting he felt it was 5-3 BUT after last night it might be more like 7-1!!

Good on the club for sticking to its guns.
Courageous move to come out and paint yourself in a corner.

In Joe we trust ... Hope they go back to back.

This thing would already be over without them.

Good luck with the player development in the SAAFL. Perhaps if they had had a SAAFL reserves team last year they would have gone further than last years prelim

OK, let's all hold hands and sing Kumbaya ...

Now that we seem to have found some love for Norwood and Centrals, who admits they barracked for the Bays in the 1990 GF?

Funny what unites normal enemies.

It was faark Port back then, now it's faark the Crows.

Apart from the first six months of the crows (when I got caught up in the hype) I have always hated the crows...just thought of port as another AFL team....not that I like them ....or the AFL

Glad that my sources appear to be off the mark, one in particular was certain we would vote YES as he felt the vote was going to end up 7-1 so we might aswell let them in.

I really hope Central and Norwood will vote no. And at least one more club. If this doesn't get passed, something must be done with regards to the way the SA Football Commission views the SANFL and how it supports the SANFL clubs. But, that is probably for another thread, another day.

Don't believe enough in anything to stick to your guns DW?

I'm producing some posters of Tripodi as Fidel as we speak.

Norwood- The People's Club.

(Until we get made to vote yes anyway)

That'll teach you to rely on Bill Moody for anything.

I've made my stance on this pretty clear and have stuck to my guns.
I'm just not sure that it was a great strategic move on Joe's behalf.
Brave or stupid, it might just work and good on him!
