Half day at work only.

I think it was the last handful of gin and tonics at the dodgy Rundle St nightspot that finished me off. Would not like to have had my dancing videotaped, may not have been my best work.

Or the football conversation with the young blonde thing, Topsy...

that's if you're who I'm thinking you are.

Well done legs even though they play defensive footy, there is a plan when they go forward.Well done to Ben Warren watching him play a few times this year the amount of ground he covers now just shows what a difference a change of club can improve,on one hand West have had a sensational year making the GF,but it was embarrasing when a couple of times a Westies player would take the game on and kick the ball forward to none of his teamates as every Westies player was in the backlines. Not a fan of the Stones, but Satisfaction was good to listen to,whoever booked them congrats.

Oh man what a day....I have no voice and a serious hangover and loving it! :D
I just want to thank Nathan Bassett for turning the Norwood Football Club (the greatest club on earth) back into the force it was always meant to be. What he's done in the time he's done it in, is an amazing effort!!! And as I told him several times last night he's "A LEGEND!"
Good crowd. Huge Norwood turnout as expected, to witness our 28th Premiership. Well done boys, what a season! :D :D

We are well on the way to reclaiming the mantle of most premierships recently lost to Port Magpies. ;)

Actually on the game, congratulations to Norwood.
Great team effort, and like all successful teams, no passengers and prepared to give for it all for each other.
Thought West were a real chance going into the game, but Norwood just clinical and efficient and showed no signs of the pressure of expectations.
Five games ahead of your nearest rival and then two thumpings in the finals is a fantastic season.

Actually I was pretty worried at quarter time .. Thought Westies had begun with vastly greater intensity than the Semi, and keeping us to just the 1 goal with the wind was a real concern. We looked a bit unsettled in that first quarter at times.

Thankfully in the 2nd we calmed down and started playing with the composure we'd shown during the season.

Reckon I would have felt like that if it was my team too, JK, but apart from the first ten minutes I thought you blokes were comfortably in control of the general contest.

West were disappointing today, as they were two weeks ago, but at least u made it, also clearly the second best team this year.

Amazed at how many Dogs fans are whining, geez get over it... ending the Dogs dominance is what the league needed.

Anyway, not all GFs are show pieces, but if you win, its sweet regardless.

"amazed at how many dogs fans are whining"....should be easy to quote a few examples then???

I'm still waiting as well...

Congrats Norwood best team all year... (b@st@rds)...

A lot of my mates are Legs fans and they're certainly letting me know about how good they are... Good on them too, winners are grinners...

Plenty there... read the thread...

I was quite impressed with the Satisfaction band
First time Ive heard them, quite a talented mob

Made a refreshing change from listening to Hey Jude !

The only criticism I had was the band playing after the match
I thought it would have been more appropriate to play the Norwood club song

Met the legendary Fester69, and the mighty Squawk at the celebrations
I was looking for fellow Redlegians JK and Adelaide Hawk but didnt find them

I think deep down I was fairly comfortable with things by halftime, but still fearful of a Westies McFlurry of goals - Jericho's openers in the 3rd were even more settling, but I wasn't going to tempt fate.

Really?
I started celebrating before half time.
Said to the people around us at the start of the game that if we kicked 6 goals we would win. I was wrong
Got a tad worried when we were show boating at the end as I had money on the 40+
