I used to work in IT as a Senior Test Analyst and whoever is running the show for the SANFL in this regard have done an awful job. I would have lost my job if Id let something like this go out so poorly tested. Monkeys and all that.

No I left :D

Anyway, happy now, the SANFL website finally started working late in the third quarter and its awesome. They need to fix it so you can get full screen from the app too when the website is down.

I might still demand my money back for North being so shIt but I don't think that's the SANFLS fault

Jake Parkinson's concept of 2 seconds is clearly different to that of the rest of the planet. The audio stream was a good 25 seconds behind the play, completely useless if you are at the ground.

The video stream was even further behind, I saw scores ticking over on the north scoreboard app minutes before they happened on the video stream.

Says the stream of the game is unavailable on the 7plus app, despite it being the SANFL app that directed me there in the first place

Not just you, and nothing to do with your network. I'm refreshing other pages instantly and the SANFL site is taking 30-60 seconds to refresh. And when it does, the information on the stats page is still old. 4.15 now, Sturt/Crows game started at 2.10, and its showing the score as Sturt 0.1 and Crows 2.4. I don't think so. AND THERE'S NO RADIO.

The stats page was terrible yesterday too. I used to be able to bring up the champion data stats via the SANFL website on my phone, the new stats page is harder to find, and wasn't updated for most of the day. They used to call this "LIVE STATS", and it was an excellent service. The new one is rubbish.

Also, I had a look at the same page on my laptop when I got home from the game. The page is even formatted all wrong, the right hand side of the Eagles data couldn't be seen, and there was no scrollbar to bring it into view. And navigation between pages was indirect. And one more for nothing, the new main page drops some giant menus which are too big for the screen - and if you leave the menu to scroll down, the menu tucks away again. You can see the lower end of the menu if you arrow down while it's displayed, but it's not good usability.

And if all of this change was for a new "look", well the site looks more amateur then before. Not fitting for the sport's peak body in this state.

Can't even maintain a website bloody hopeless...does this mean if you paid money for a digital pass you wouldn't be able to watch it on your tv/laptop.

Use SANFL app while i was out today worked fine updated regularly. Watched a bit on the digital pass website on phone with no problem and then saw the whole 2nd half on ipad with out any issues. $29.95 well spent if it like that every round.

If it removed the impetus to attend a glorified trial match then the digital pass is an unmitigated success.

See you on Friday, for the first game of the season.
