Do Sturt continue to develop juniors and field their reserves and under age teams ?
This assumes the Crows and Port field teams in the SANFL as reserves..... unlikely I think.

bloody good point.
what does the VFL clubs, aligned to AFL clubs, do with their juniors.
as of names etc, to hard for me to think about that one, gonna be a nightmare.

VFL clubs don't have Juniors they have the TAC Cup. They do however have Reserves and also the league team has restrictions on how many AFL listed players can be on the match day team sheet.

would assume they would absorb them into the power, i dont know, no one does.
just a thought that this might happen.
it might be another sanfl team. i'm just joing the dots that power came from port.

Well the power can't prop themselves up.

They've got an infinitely more successful club's history to prop themselves up with.

Not all clubs have Development teams (Reserves) eg Geelong and Collingwood don't

The WAFL system will work that the reserves and junior teams remain but aligned clubs cant sign players from outside their zone. I presume a similar model would apply to SA (provided a club wants to align with the Crows).

What would happen once a player was delisted from the Crows. Would he remain a Sturt player seeing that his original club had been recompensed when he was drafted or would he return to his original club?

I feel that you are right PAFC1870, that is unless a new set of guide lines or rules are drawn up when a reserves team by the Crows is put into the SANFL comp.

Looks like Port Magpies are tied to the One Club sinking ship scenario and will probably will be sucked into the AFL reserves somehow.
Dont give a xxxx as long as the SANFL continues on well after Port Power are a distant memory and a blueprint for what NOT to do. They will suffer the same fate as Judas !

But he is only free to go where he likes once his original SANFL club clears him. e.g. Norwood had to pay West a clearance fee for Nathan Eagleton.

Claremont must be impressed with the new host club alignment NOT!!!

Cale Morton son of club legend Noel Morton was picked by West Coast in the off season. Instead of returning to Claremont to play he now has to play at East Perth , West Coast's feeder club. Yeah great system pull returning players away from their original clubs, what a F^cking Joke.

Claremont the reigning premiers in the league and reserves in the WAFL got off to good start by winning all 3 games against South Fremantle. While both feeder club got spanked, East Perth by over 10 goals against West Perth. While perennial cellar dweller Perth knocked off of Peel.

RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

From 2014 all players on the Eagles list will be aligned to East Perth and all Dockers’ listed players to Peel, allowing players not required at AFL level to train and play together in the same WAFL team.

This will hurt Claremont significantly

Jeremy McGovern
Nick Suban
Patrick McGinnity
Josh Hill

All gone next season because East Perth & Peel sold their souls for cash!!!!!!!!

McGovern is still with Claremont at this stage and played for the Tigers on the weekend against Souths.
It's all the SANFL's fault.
