No disrespect to West Adelaide, but if he wanted to play in a senior premiership (and he chose the SANFL) what on earth was he doing at West Adelaide and Glenelg! He had as little chance playing in senior premierships as possible (save playing for South Adelaide...)!

you cant be serious ..... probably the most ridiculous post I have ever read. But you are a funny old fellow

I think ST post is pretty commonsense really, both West and Glenelg were midtable/cellar dwellars when he went to these clubs, they were definatly not premiership contenders amongst most pundits (even WAFC making the 2003 GF was a massive surprise).
IF he came to the SANFL wanting to win an SANFL premiership, it would certainly be fair to say he probably didn't pick the most attractive clubs at the time of his decisions.
Thanks for the support, whufc.
It's not a pi55 take - he arrived at a time that four clubs would have represented the best chance of playing in (and winning) a premiership.
Glenelg, West and South were not in that lot.
The irony of West Adelaide's 2003 once he'd flown the coup was not lost on me - and where did Mouse elect to venture
if he so richly sought a premiership - Glenelg.
"Get with the program"...

P.S. GossipGirl - took me a little while to work out who you were - the '2000' comment gave you up. Now, back to your Celtics, at least they can win every 100 years or so!
