David,

Not so much a question, but an observation.

As we draw closer to the final decision being made by the SANFL league directors and the imminent admission of the AFC reserves side into the SANFL I ask one thing of you. If you have not already taken some of the feedback from this site to your superiors at the Westpac Centre one thing you can do, for sure and certain, you can tell them that the Adelaide Football Clubs motto of being "The Team for all South Australians" could not be further from the truth.

Never once has your club been the team for all South Australians and now through the actions of the last 6 months you have alienated football people, died in the wool football people, South Australians. They now have an extreme dislike for the AFC. Old proud clubs like Norwood, Sturt and Glenelg that have historic relevance to the football community is South Australia will suffer as fans, members and supporters walk away from the competition they and perhaps generations before them have grown up loving, the majority of them, South Australians.

Never did I think I would see the day when the bad guys of South Australian football were on the other side of Port Rd.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

It will need to be unanimous. There's no point going in if a club or a couple of clubs are dead against it.

some clubs are dead against it but too bad your club refers to threats to get what it wants. i feel sick that trigg was once a coach of the SFC.

Given David hasn't graced SA Footy with his presence in 3 days, this little experiment may be over. The questions got a little tougher around that same time, which I am certain is a coincidence.

SANFL may not be top of the pops for a majority of kids in the age group I work with (11-13 y.o) but I can tell you the Crows and Puffs are totally uncool, man. Actually I'm shocked and surprised how many go for interstate AFL teams - except of course the big percentage who prefer the round ball game, with rugby gaining ground every year

My son used to barrack for them, was brainwashed by his mother.
Brought him a Suns membership and guernsey for his birthday 2 years ago and have even taken him to Metricon to see a few games.
He cant stand the Crows now, even threw all his old Crows gear in the rubbish :D

The questions didn't get any tougher, they just kept going around in circles.

I wrote about the crowd "guesstimate" very early in the piece. We have backed ourselves to attract between 2000 to 6000 per game. There will be opportunities down the track to review the system if required but I think you underestimate the level of interest there will be in a Crows reserves side. Anyway, proof will be in the pudding. David

This doesn't match up with the stats the SANFL collects at Auskick clinics or on school visits. Crows and Port dominate the landscape.

Sorry if I didn't produce the answers you want to hear. The Clubs have enough information to decide if this progresses or not,we will all know in less than 24 hours. David
