Surprisingly ;) Craig Parrys appeal has been dismissed and he will miss the next four games.

It's not the GAYFL even though Glenelg is in the comp

Good luck not judgement that he didn't break his jaw or cheekbone. So your happy with elbows to the head to only get 2 weeks hey?

The player is behind him so he hasn't lined him up for who he is. At his height he has rounded his arm, not raised it, and made contact high because the other player is smaller then him. Reckless action for certain but to be outed for 20% of the season is a disgrace at a semi pro level. SANFL has finally caught up to the weak over governed madness that is Gayfl! Proof is the Selwood brothers report incident, what a complete waste of time and just shows footy is only now a man's game some of the time; madness brought on by bureaucrats who are too smart to go into politics

If he didn't have such a bad record, he wouldn't have got 20% of the season! He would have got what it deserved, probably 2 games. Maybe he has to get it through his thick head that he can't go around every weekend donging people.

Yep, virtually gone from an emerging finals hope to just being happy to avoid the wooden spoon in a split second, Redden you'd think would have an extended run at the Power and using Greiger weakens a strong spot.
Also, if we do make it through, Parry would have only had one hit-out in 8 weeks.

Does anyone know how the final 4 week ban was decided. He was offered 4 for an early plea, contested it, and still got 4?

Deserved 2-3 I think, but with a poor record, 4 about right.

He gave a 'guilty plea' to the charge of striking but contested the intentional aspect to try and get downgraded to reckless which would have apparently meant a reduction to 3 games instead of 4.

If Parry wasn't facing the player and was moving away, then his action could not have been intentional but reactionary! How this is not worth a downgraded result is a disgrace and if the Eagles had Collingwood's money and clout to push/threaten court action, well he would be looking at 2 games I'm certain. This stinks to high heaven as where is the injury to make it so bad, the player wasn't knocked out or anything else. Pathetic

If Clayton was looking at one week for abusing the umpire, then Parry definitely deserved more than two such a dirty act
