hearing that the west adelaide camp is pretty unsettled....Andy Collins has been given more than enough time to get some success at the club but the word is there are plenty of blokes out there just waiting for his back to leave richmond oval! Sounds like he really doesn't know how to communicate with his players!

As opposed to any of their coaches since about 1985. ;)

Seems as though they have some good people at the top but changing the culture of a club, that has had a poor one for so many years, is hard to do.

Dunno where else to post this...

Stumbled upon South training at Flinders Uni on Friday on the way back from an appointment.

The guys looked very sharp and keen and rarin' to go.

I predict South will get more fans to their home game on March 24, than the Gold Coast got to their soccer home game last night. National competition my foot - pfft.

Wouldn't surprise me if we triple it for our first home game, only need 6057 fans to do that.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Coming from the guy who keeps tipping port to make the finals?

Lmao.

Must admit I am very surprised with many of the predictions of where Norwood will finish this year.. I believe that they will be a stronger side than last year even after losing all the players to AFL and retirement.. I went out and watched on Friday night against a rather ordinary opponent. They played really well and if not for inaccurate kicking would have had a big win.. I think they have picked up some players that could really make a dofference this year in the likes of Batsanis and Newton. I also believe little aishy will hold down a spot for the majority of the year and looks a ready made league player.

With the addition of Jericho, zorzi and a few others into that team Norwood will be a good team.. Also look as if young Persinos is ready for a big year after dominating in the second half o the reserves game.

Glad Norwood appear to be well under the radar.... those who matter know better.
Think Port Maggies will be the big improver and challenge for top 3.
Westies will mark time at the bottom of the ladder and waste yet another year until they get rid of one of the worst coaches to cross the border. Mikan by round 12.
Sturt MUST finish bottom or will be swabbed for steroids.
Back to back is hard so maybe the Eggs will not do it.
Centrals ... well who can exclude them from another GF ?
Don't see South improving on last year and may go backwards.
North maybe around the place but not a flag threat.
Glenelg are the mystery club for me could surprise a lot and surprise big time ... or pfizzz out again like most expect. Wild card for me.

Norwood to beat Centrals in the GF ...payback !
