Would Mickan be just starting to feel a bit of pressure nowdays especially from the faithful on the mound , I wonder ? {"wycbloods"]

Well judging by who's at training so far this year not quite sure "quite a few" is a 100% right. Mind you not all players are back yet, but that is the senior group (league players) who aren't due back until next week.

Well i was told there were 7 to be precise talking with the Eagles, sounding out their chances is probably a better term. Not sure how serious they all are but they are putting the feelers out.[/quote]

Don't think most senior players start training until next week?

As LBJ said, most senior blokes start next week, and led to believe that he isn't going anywhere either.....

Several former Port Magpies players will be returning this season such as Luke Slattery, Shane Biasci and Matthew Gates. These three have been running around literally at pre-season training lately.

Old coach out and players return something like at Fortress Woodville.
Footballers seem to be the same at most clubs .

Have also heard there are a couple of cahsed up VFL clubs that are keen for his signature...

Also, still a chance to be re-drafted by another AFL club. I think he is still capable of playing good AFL football...

Rumour is that several SANFL recruiting managers are talking to the lad, with Central rumoured to be showing some interest.

The lad has struggled with injury during his AFL career so it could be that he has an eye on the facilities at Elizabeth, yet that is just a guess as I dont have any confirmation that is the case or not.

He was the most over rated player to ever be given the chance in AFL. I hope Westies do not chase him.

Highly unlikely I'd think. Not the type of player we need most desperately.
