Wasnt the player previously "boned" from the Eagles a couple of years back, played ammo's and then popped up at south?

Grahaml, yeah i agree with you but i think all those guys will retire in the next two seasons at most. I don't expect, nor want the club to go after big names but i definatly think we need another ruckmen, can't rely on AFL guys such as Giles and Griffen.

I would also like them to bring in one midfielder, not a big name more a project player because when all these guys leave it will be hard to recruit 3 real gun midfielders in the one season.

Also late mail i have is Cowan may not go around again and has pulled the pin.

I haven't heard that one, i feel he may be more headed in a red and white direction, a couple of demons could end up at richmond but his name is not in dispatches.

I hope you aere right but his age worries me a little, walsh stryggled all year for us, brown an ex westies so i am happy to have him back

..and of course, no clubs have spoken to any players from other clubs yet as they aren't allowed to speak to players until their contracts have run out. (Early December????)

So no clubs (other than South) could possibly have spoken to Torney, unless they had permission from South.

Of course.

What I don't get is David Tiller (Oatey/Nunan style) coaching and developing juniors in a John Cahill/Fos Williams environment.

Seems bizarre to me  :?

My lad and I cannot understand clubs signing successful Port Adelaide Coaches .As they are only that way at Port Adelaide .Check Jacks record re flags away from Alberton.

At this rate South will be well below the salary cap.
