Poor kicking is poor football, Eagles were pathetic infront of goals.
North and the Eagles have beaten us this year, glad one of them will be gone after next week.
Didnt see much from West that would suggest they can match it next week unless we have a poor day, will definately be easier if Ferguson doesnt come up

And probably would have won it if they'd converted a gettable shot from a late free. Norwood have no grounds to count chickens regarding any of the 3 sides remaining in the comp. North and the Eagles have both beaten them in 2013, and (unlike North and Eagles) West really troubled the Legs the last time they played them. In fact, after an unbelievable massacre of a first quarter at Richmond in their first 2013 meeting, West have really troubled the Legs in the last 7 quarters they've played against them.gutterboy wrote:Going what you said westies should stay home...didn't westies lose by a kick at the parade this year...

Like you said earlier, it's all about kicking for goal. Last year's GF seemed like a massacre watching it at the ground, but ultimately the differential was just inside 50s 43:37, and scoring shots 19:15. Plenty of teams have won games where they only lose the stats by that much, as long as they kick for goal better than their opponents. If West can back up their kicking for goal like today, and Norwood kick for goal like the Eags did today...Jim05 wrote:AAMI suits us a lot more, if we play our best West wont get within 10 goals, obviously no guarantee we will play our best though. If we are even slighly off West could pinch it
