Seriously, Norwood would be 8-10 goal up over either of these sides!!

IF we play to our capabilities yes but we are more than capable of putting in a shocker. Eagles embarassed us earlier in the year. They are our main threats.
West just dont score enough to worry us

The bits I've seen today I've been very impressed with both North and the Eagles. Both will be very hard to beat

Ferguson running back with the flight, Ainger coming through collects him in the head, KO before he lands. Stretcher out. Could be the last time we see Fergy in a Westies guernsey. Huge dent to westies hopes going forward.

Good fightback by West.
Poor kicking is poor football, Eagles were pathetic infront of goals.
North and the Eagles have beaten us this year, glad one of them will be gone after next week.
Didnt see much from West that would suggest they can match it next week unless we have a poor day, will definately be easier if Ferguson doesnt come up

AAMI suits us a lot more, if we play our best West wont get within 10 goals, obviously no guarantee we will play our best though. If we are even slighly off West could pinch it

And probably would have won it if they'd converted a gettable shot from a late free. Norwood have no grounds to count chickens regarding any of the 3 sides remaining in the comp. North and the Eagles have both beaten them in 2013, and (unlike North and Eagles) West really troubled the Legs the last time they played them. In fact, after an unbelievable massacre of a first quarter at Richmond in their first 2013 meeting, West have really troubled the Legs in the last 7 quarters they've played against them.

Just hoping and trusting there won't be any cockiness or laziness at the Parade with Bass in charge (thinking obviously not about last year's 2SF, but the 2SF in 1997 where Norwood were the dominant minor round team and went in hot favourites).

Like you said earlier, it's all about kicking for goal. Last year's GF seemed like a massacre watching it at the ground, but ultimately the differential was just inside 50s 43:37, and scoring shots 19:15. Plenty of teams have won games where they only lose the stats by that much, as long as they kick for goal better than their opponents. If West can back up their kicking for goal like today, and Norwood kick for goal like the Eags did today...
