Clint Alleway accepted the 1 match ban handed down by the IRP...

OTR - do you know how many games Allers has missed due to suspension in his time at North?

Craig Parry has been offered 4 weeks by the SANFL's Incident Review Panel for elbowing Sam Mayes in the side of the head...

The Eagles are going to go to the tribunal tomorrow night and challenge this decision...

Incident can be seen at about the 22:50 mark of 'The Recovery Session', link below:

The Eagles are a disgrace if they are challenging that.
The filthy prick should have got 6 weeks for that. One of the most blatant and deliberate acts of thuggery ive seen for a while

I think the length of the suspension offered probably has a bit to do with Craig's prior record as well. If the 4 game suspension sticks and the Eagles don't end up making the finals, yesterday could actually be the last game he plays for the Eagles?

Another brain fade by Parry. Very disappointing. The one player we couldn't afford to lose.

agreed, with his side desperately trying to make the finals, the last thing you need from a senior player is this crap.

Not sure he's got one to "fade". It would be very frustrating from a club and supporter perspective.

Not the least bit surprised no North player was reported last Sunday as we were nowhere near an opponent to do anything legal let alone illegal!

Mayes must have got disorientated getting close enough to an opposition player to get hit. No doubt he will get fined by the playing group for going against the match day game plan.

Just had a look at the Parry report - going to be hard to argue that down. He must have been having a chat with Alleway pre-game on the virtues of doing something stupid to ensure a suspension?

You lot are that soft, it's predictable! What was the injury ah that's right nothing. It's 2 weeks for a reckless action nothing more.
It's not the GAYFL even though Glenelg is in the comp

F**k F**k F**k

After seeing that, four games a fair penalty IMO.

Real Hail Mary challenge, unless there is some sort of precendent we have to draw on. Can't understand why we would challenge this when we didn't the Rowntree one earlier in the year.

With an apalling prior record 4 weeks is pretty lucky IMO.

3-4 for that incident IMO without taking priors into account.

Jeremy Clayton pleaded guilty to umpire abuse and has had his punishment reduced from a 1 match suspension to a reprimand. Is free to play against the Eagles on Saturday...

Craig Parry up next...
