What's this...a Central league regular was spotted this morning, coming out of the changerooms in tears and being consoled by a couple of team mates, after being told by the club doctor that the "little niggle" he got from training earlier in the week would rule him out of the GF...I fully expect now that both Dunne AND Reichert will play on Sunday...

I've also been told that Damian Hynes, who is still recovering from the Reserves Mad Monday, received a phone call today telling him to attend tomorrows final training session for possible shock selection in the GF...

On a sadder note, i've heard that Centrals will wear black armbands in the GF in remembrance of Apple founder Steve Jobs who died yesterday...most of the league squad being iPad owners/addicts/users...

Lastly, with all the injuries and bad weather forecast, I expect Roy Laird to make some position changes and try some different tactics come Sunday.

Yeah, that picture I mentioned is of two of "the brothers"...

As for the Budget...plenty of padding in it as well as plenty to read...3 page article on the 1961 GF as well as other GFs...player interviews...season reviews...Magarey Medal...State team...definitely worth the $5!

With all of these unconfirmed injuries to players like O'Hara, Jenner , Platten and Duckworth that are growing in momentum post by post, it sounds like we need to get Agents Mulder and Scully on the case.

Agreed cennals. Have to feel for Hardy as this year he has been on the improve from game to game and would have provided us with a good foil for Groeke. Will have to grind out this one. Please no more injuries!!!
