I assume Matthew Bode has retired.

According to the paper this morning he has signed with the crows as a part-time rehabilitation coach and will also be the match day runner.

dont know if its been mentioned anywhere in this thread yet but i believe the port magpies are giving state country player and also player of the carnival for the state country carnival Ben Yeomans a crack next season . Good on the lad for havin a(nother) crack as i believe has had a go at south before and didnt really enjoy it . Still only 19 or 20 and could be a good pick up for the maggies . Played last season at Ironbank in hills central comp .
Good luck Yeoy 8)

LBT is right that it would be Tiller, but I don't think we've signed him, or Eagleton, or anyone else, apart from MacReadie, already announced.

also played at North Adelaide but "didn't really enjoy it", as well as a Port Augusta team, but "didn't really enjoy it". After South he went to Goolwa / Port Elliott, but "didn't really enjoy it", so went to Ironbank for some coin.

Port must be back in the money to be able to fork out a big transfer fee to South for a finge player with itchy feet!

Good luck to Yeoy, a good fella who should give League Football another crack, pity it isn't with us. Bunton, I love your passion, we all know we need it down here but at some point you need to move on with players leaving us - we'll be $20K better without him!

Why will there be a big transfer fee. Once he turns 19 he is no longer on the junior list at South, and unless he is under contract at South, which by the sounds of things, he isnt, they wouldnt have to pay South a cent for him?

Not sure if this has already posted but wasnt in the ins or outs

but i was reliably informed last night my favourite opposition player  Jace Bode from sturt has left them and wont be playing in 2011.

Another player who is out from Sturt is Wark, my mate goes to Uni with him and due to uni commitments he wont be playing football for Sturt in 2011.

Looks like Central could possibly lose 2 more players, although AFL listed...

Jay Nash and Matthew Westhoff have been delisted by Port Adelaide this afternoon...

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/ ... fault.aspx

The article mentions Westhoff will still train with the club leading up to the draft, perhaps with the hope of being rookie-listed while Nash will look for his 3rd AFL club now.

If they do not get re-drafted, will be interesting to see if they stay with the Doggies. Both are Barossa Valley lads as well...
