Roy has only coached 7 flags, hasn't he?

2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 = 7

Roy is a club man. Not seeking individual glory.

Mentioned to me yesterday that he is waiting on whether Andy Collins is staying or not and if he goes he has the choice of either job (reckon he will choose Westies)

So, West have not announced whether their current coach is even leaving while Port have not yet started interviewing candidates and yet apparently they have both already offered Cotton the job?

Don't think so. Getting a fraction ahead of things there I think.

Cotton is heir apparent to Nathan Bassett so why would he want to go to either of those clubs ?

Well given a current coach in the AFL system who wants to come back to SA rang Nwd footy club four months ago to enquired about the senior coaching job when the rumours regarding Bass moving on in 2013 first arose. He got told by a Nwd official that if Bass goes the Job is going to be Cottons. He knows there current system and players.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Port players would be disappointed to get back from their footy trip (the one they were asked not to take) and still not have a coach appointed.
