WWT playing a better brand, direct and hitting leading targets. Umpiring is by far the worst I've ever seen, WWT 19 - Sturt 4 at halftime. WWT awarded a free in for a high tackle from his own player, wasn't a tight pack either. At a guess I'd say WWT have had close to 6-8 frees in their F 50.
SANFL umpiring at an all time low, pinning the unexplainable and missing the obvious.

Last night a Central bloke won a free after getting bumped high by one of his own, right in front of the Glenelg contingent. Have to say the umpiring was close to the worst I've seen. Not biased at all, since the Bays got their share of dodgy ones, just completely arbitrary in the application of the rules. It was like they were rolling a die at every contest to determine if there was a free, which way it was going, and what for.

Agreed, the obvious easy ones they seem to miss but they bring out the tiggy touch-would insignificant frees and you think WTF?? We got a couple last night that you think what the hell was that for? Then a trip, push in the back, and late arm chop against us are all called play on!! Got to say though it didn't make a skerrick of difference to last night's result.

I recall pseudo's example... The free was paid for the push in the back causing the two dogs players to collide.

Not to say we didn't benefit from a couple of bafflers, but that wasn't one of them.

Bugger... another close defeat... Sturt seem to work themselves into shocking positions, then almost steal victory... very disappointing, certainly setting ourselves up for another spoon.
