Unlucky to have concussion and get suspended. ;)

WTF did West challenge the Bricknell reprimand? Now a 1 week suspension....

Was he not reported for striking Thompson, who got 2 weeks for striking (yet he got the free kick!)

Swings and roundabouts though. Tippett was lucky to get just 1

WTF were they thinking

Unbelievable.
Would have to be the dumbest decision in football since the McLeod/Groom trade.

He is a very sensitive man and a repramand would be most upsetting to him.
Just 4 reports from a North v West game , a bit light aint it ?
In fact just 4 reports from ANY North game is light

Interesting that the Jeremy Clayton and James Meiklejohn 'dangerous tackles' didn't go any further than 'being looked at'...

If it was the AFL, I reckon both those Magpies players would have been in a it of trouble, especially considering both have carry over points from prior indiscretions...

I think perhaps the fact that both James Aish (tackled by Clayton) and Aaron Luccon (tackled by Meiklejohn) weren't injured, got back up and played on probably helped...

Those tackles are not a good look and it is a shame that someone has to be hurt before they are knuckled down on...

Told that Bricknell didnt strike anyone and therefore he believed he would get off but the tribunal just got their decision wrong.

Yeah, there is discussion elsewhere that Bricknell said he didn't connect with anyone, yet Kriston Thompson from North - suspended for striking Bricknell - was adamant he was hit by Bricknell, hence the reason he struck him back, got reported and will now miss 2 weeks.

More importantly the reporting umpire was adamant that he saw Bricknell hit Thompson. That is the evidence that got Bricknell a game. Given the mistakes umpires make, who knows?

I've heard a West player wasn't reported, but they've appealed and he's now suspended for 6 games.
