Coz we won , here goes my whinge , 22 to 14 frees in Dogs favour  some real poor ones late that showed a lack of staying neutral in an otherwise hard tough contest ! Umpires really should be better than that , especially the little chap

Agree. I thought the umpiring in the first half was pretty good and what you would expect for a GF but the Eagles got a poor run after half time, it was like the umpires were trying to get Centrals back in it?
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Both teams had decisions go for and against them eg, the goodrem tackle in the first few minutes 40 out from goal. Was probably the most obvious holding the ball i have seen yet wasnt paid.

The positive i suppose is the best team on the day still won and it wasnt because of an umpiring incident at the end of the match.

Was great to see Petrenko, Vince, Jacobs and Salter not only at the game but passionate in their support for the club that got them into the AFL, probably says a fair bit about the culture developed at Oval Ave.

vince was classic picking up cicca during the interview. There was a lot of ex players there. sam Daveron, sam fairclough, vinnie rugalo this list goes on. shows its a great culture at Eagle Land. Also have heard Ashley Duncan from Centrals is looking for new opportunities. Would love to have him on board at Eagles

A significant day for the club to stand up against the best and prevail. A loss would have devastated the club after being the better side for 3/4
Thought Powell for his toughness was outstanding and numerous cameos got us over the line.
At mid season, I was very disappointed with our recruits - Tiller, Raymond and Hall. I thought their contributions Sunday were significant and justified their recruitment.
Still in shock, we just don't jag grand finals like that!!!

Well summarised
Fabulous victory and a great Grand Final.
We will enjoy the spoils Thanks Woodville West Torrens Football Club

How good were Ben Gregier and Daniel Havelburg yesterday? Greiger so good for so much of the game, but then Havelburg wills himself into the game, makes the most of his chances to get them back into the game. Nightmares of Spehr and Hodges.

You're right, though, he's a great bloke, totally respected at Westies and wherever he goes.

Congratulations to him and the Eagles.

Yeah I knew he was a Westies country boy, didn't know exactly if it was the Riverland or Mallee, took a punt and lost again!! Knew it wasn't Roxby Downs though!!!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
