Well, I hear the Sutherland camp has concerns about the implications of this. Thoughts?

Sutherland will be playing for the Dogs in 2011, though he will be missing half of the pre season due to a pre booked holiday to the USA.

Obviously Centrals don't have the same tough standards that they set at South.

Sorry Big Phella, didn't realise this post got shifted too! Lol.

Concerns were surrounding if Central will go out and try and recruit another starting ruckman, which might push him back to third in line??

The only think that will hold Sutherland back is the fact he will be missing the first half of pre season, other than that i think he would be in the best two ruckmen we have.

I hope that Jason "Buckets" Mackenzie can be persuaded to play on.

Perhaps the biggest loss of the decade from any team. IMHO :D

I tried to talk him out of retirement myself on Saturday night at the Dogs B&F count (although I did have about half a dozen pints in me*)

Even offered to take on some of his work (he is a Rep at one of the divisions of my work and I too am a Rep) but looks like he will have a kick next season with his brother at BSR, as below:

Good on him if he's going back to BSR, a club that has been struggling a lot of late, so could use such a boost.

Either BSR or Kapunda I think...

As the article hinted, it looks more likely to be BSR so he can have a kick with his brother Adam?

Is there any chance he may get drafted??

I'm not sure if he has, but i know that a couple of clubs have been on the blower to Centrals getting info on him (this came from someone involved with Westies). He's only 21 and he's a ready made build for a ruckman so I'd be interested to see if he does get drafted. I'd say he will be putting in for the draft. It's worth a crack.
