We have a new worker and she's English, just started living in Adelaide recently .She went along to watch the Grand Final and commented on the Flares .I said thats Centrals they aren't supposed to be allowed in the oval.I said it would be like a soccer game to you .And her reply yep but without all the violence of home .

If only that were true - some of the other teams might have a fighting chance!

Please identify and charge the one or two individuals who are lighting flares. I suggest a CCTV with recorder records the behind the goals group where the flares are always lit. Also an explosive sniffer dog should be able to sniff out the flares before they are lit and without needing the intimate body searches that have been suggested. One these individuals have been charged and receive huge fines please have them banned from SANFL events.

For those who couldnt be bothered reading the 11 pages previous to this, let me give you a quick summary of the oppositions fans arguments.

"Whinge Whinge Whinge Centrals Fans". Followed by

"Sour grapes Sour Grapes Sour Grapes Flares are bad" ended with

"Sore Losers Sore Losers youll never guess what the END to ENDERS do on GF day"

Every year this topic come up after another couple of teams get destroyed in the finals by the cdfc. Some oppoistion fans dont like flares we understand that is your OPINION. Some CDFC fans like the flares and that is there OPINION.

Just like some people have the OPINION if you need to drink alcohol to enjoy a football game your sad. Whilst other people like nothing more than to catch up with mates and have a few frothys at the footy. Each to their own.

Seeing as flares are never thrown at opposition fans and always amongst cdfc fans. Suck it up I say????

Do love the BS your not doing this for your own personal gripe. But for the SANFL. What a crock. How can Orange smoke 100 metres away from where you are seated affect your day at all. Before you ask no I dont throw flares. Never have never will. But I do enjoy them at the footy as it is a sign for CDFC fans to start chanting . Which we do better than anybody else in the league. No UK, I don't go crying, I jump on a big white thing with wheels and water on board so I can help the people that may have their life or health endangered by the bushfire.
Why? Because I think that other people are as important as myself and am willing to help those people in need.
Whether your supporters throw these things or not (it has been stated that one was thrown last year) they are still endangering other people and I guarentee you that when someone gets hurt, it won't be the person that lit the flare, it'll be someone like you that says, "wow, there's a flare, I think that means it's time for me to sing, geez it's pretty and it makes our mob cool coz we're rebels" .
