LOL, did you read the disclaimer SABRE?

I forgot to mention I was temporarily concussed as well and my dog stayed well clear of me when I got home.

But at least I had a good night's sleep :weedman:

I'm deeply offended I haven't made this list, my standards are slipping.

At least we can beat the Dogs though. :D

LOL, well in that case, geffuged then ... make it 3 now! b-(

Happy now? ... have I missed anyone else?

Yeah, saw the disclaimer, but thought Connie let your outburst off too lightly.
Thought you deserved a bit of a serve for that one.
Hope your dog is still in one piece. If you'd won, can you imagine what would happen
to an angry Centrals supporter if he went home and kicked a pet tiger ?
That mental picture may help salve your feelings for a week (or 2 ?)
;)
p.s. Jabber you're disgusting, bloody funny, but disgusting !

That's because he's a good bloke and knows I'm a prick so why would he waste his time?

Don't forget I went to Norwood High and wore your guernsey as a junior many years ago, but I think the 159 pie and pasty nights where I had to watch the '75 GF contributed to my white line fever. I still have nightmares, even today.

So it's not unexpected that I have a lapse every now and again.

I'll try to take my medication next time.

Can someone explain why I got slightly sunburnt yesterday but today the sky is rumbling and spitting out big electric forks and it's pissing down?

No, I suspect God has been looking after the Dogs a bit recently. It's no coincidence that if you spell God backwards ...

Anyway, I reckon God is just trying to rub salt into our wounds today, the sick bastard that He is.

Lets cut to the chase Centrals beat my mob again because of 2 very simple facts. They have a edge on us both mentally and where it counts most in Finals in the glass box in the members stand.Roy Laird out coached Mikan something shocking.

3rd quarter Laird drops J.Gowans [by the way to the guy who did the stats in the advertiser he wears no 28] lose in defence but also had him moving forward MAN UP ON HIM.By my count he had 8 touches in the 3rd each one was effective.

Center clearances we were smashed man on man rove to Centrals rucks not hard we even do that at my SAAFL club.

Centrals had numbers in our defence push up leave the FF one out

Then there is stigma about the nasty Gowans twins they ran a muck because a few of our players were trying to get in a cheap shot instead of playing the ball they were trying to upset them AINT GOING TO WORK.The only questionable thing J.Gowans did was give Murphy one in the 2nd [i think] apart from that they did F all in the dirty tactics department.

At 3 quarter time you new they were going to make a run 5-10 mins then if things have not settled down start a little skirmish nothing illegal just a good old fashioned push and shove

Gleng or Sturt cant win the flag not a chance in hell but they can still go top BECAUSE Centrals can lose it.

So much for the third quarter being the "Premiership Quarter"

Another feature of the game for me was the Centrals end-to-enders who cheered the team on all day and even upped the tempo during the third quarter when the team was down and staring defeat in the face. Conversely once Centrals got on top there was hardly any sound or movement coming from the Snouts pocket...

And the only othe thing you could here from the end to enders in between cheers was how Central were getting rorted. Walked behind them many times and heard bugger all else.
From a neutral watching your game, yes, the umpiring was bad but it didn't favour any side.

From a Central supporter perspective =))
But interesting that's how you saw it. The "neutrals" I've spoken to disagree.

See that's funny. From the Snouts pocket couldn't hear a thing they where saying when they were down the other end.

Fair enough. If you look at all my posts through safooty and db.org you'll notice I don't take the umpire bagging from any supporters, including my own. If your team is good enough, they'll win regardless.
BTW, sorry if it seemed that I was singleing out fish as he made no mention of the umps, just making an observation.

The trouble with bad umpiring is it tends to favour the weaker side at the time. What I mean by that is one side gets a run-on and teh other side plays for frees and when they are played they disrupt the flow of the game. I think this impacted both sides on Sunday and tended to spoil what was a great spectacle. We all became very umpire aware. Not a good sign.
We used to be good :-(
