Asked him last week if he had been interviewed for the job and he has, but not interested.
In his words the club is in a much worse position than he hoped and new off.

The chatter from within is that the field is virtually narrowed down to 2 people
Trigger is an even money chance
An appointment can be expected probably close to this time next week

They will go even further backwards (if thats possible) if that happenes. The club needs to start looking outside of the square if they want any success within the next 5 years.

If thats possible? thats only 1 spot lower than where they finished this year, no doubt its possible.
I've been saying for quite some time, some fossles down there need to move on but no-one has the balls to move them on, theres plenty of talk about it but no action, remember actions do speak louder than words.
I don't like bringing up the Matthew Knights saga of yesteryear but i can't help it, the sooner they introduce some new ideas ( structures ) and add to their game plan the sooner they'll go forward but don't expect a premiership in the first year like the current board did with Matthew.
The thing is getting it through the thick heads of some down there.
A couple more years like this one could spell THE END for the best SANFL club in history.
I bet the Power would like that!
