it used to be 'the oatey era' or 'the kerley era' with players coached by these 2 then coaching themselves......fast forward now it is 'the centrals era' (in terms of coaching as well) with macgown & now healy so who'll be the next central person coaching ?

good luck to daniel (apart from against glenelg)

Congratulations to Heals and good luck for 2009 (but not too much luck !!)

Will be interesting to see who his assistant coaches will be and whether or not he tries to get a few "fringe" players over to North from Centrals?

Scott Peters has been retained as Reserves Coach but according to the 'Tiser report today Healy will be able to appoint 2 assistants of his won choice so as you say Big Phil, it will be interesting and I'm sure these announcements won't be too far away.

Come on North! You take our players to play for you, our players to coach for you, our players to be your accountant, you copy the name of our club, why don't you just do it & add a bit of blue to your guernsey & evolve completely? Just because we wouldn't merge with you!

Hmmmm...so that's why they just interviewed him on KG and Cornsey about becoming the new coach at North Adelaide then...maybe someone should tell him the contract fell through.

A bit of useless trivia, but some may remember Greg MCAdam played for North then went to Central .
Whilst at the Roosters he had a sensational year, playing State footy and figuring very high[maybe second]in the Magarey.
Went missing for a while, then reappeared at the Dogs and was pretty well finished and struggled before fading off never to be seen again.
As for Heals, good luck to him, anyone who knows the guy will see he is a natural leader, and I would be surprised if he doesnt get the best out of his playing group.
Cheers 8)

Who? Me?...sorry I'll happily stand corrected but I thought Dog_ger was suggesting that Daniel Healy's contract had fallen through when he was live on 5aa talking about becoming the new coach. Apologies if I was mistaken.
