Any truth to the rumour that the Port players will be walking around the fence line with a blanket at half time, looking for donations so they can actually get paid this week?

And any truth in the second rumour that Port hope they don't make the finals so their player payments aren't as high this year?

Didn't think so either, ridiculous suggestions.

The paper reported that Port only suspended payments for a week but 2 PAMFC players I know very well said it was a month at this stage could be longer according to what is in the letter they all got! Funny the 'Tiser should have got hold of a copy and researched the story properly but if it was Doug Robertson who reported it then no suprise he has been moved sideways now!A longer suspension of payments is the short priced favourite presently.

Maybe they should have signed a better deal with their POW pub - fancy not having any cash flow presently out of pub with the turnover most pubs have with pokies?

Maybe they need more money than the allocated $325K salary cap to pay their high profile players or is that just a rumour as well?

this is without doubt the most important glenelg-port match since the 1992 grand final as it will be season defining for both teams, i expect glenelg to win a bruising encounter

Imagine any SANFL without Port Adelaide Magpies......

Can't believe the (PPP) Player Payment Predicament....

Where do I send my donation.....?

I remember crawling through the hole in the wire fence....

I remember Foss in my youth.....

I remember crawling through the depths of the club at Alberton......

The Nooks and Crannies......

I remember talking to the umps at 1/2 time

(in their little space under the stand somewhere) when I was about 12 or 13.....
