As expected, Harry Grant has won the 2023 Magarey Medal with 27 votes Nick Rokhar second and James Battersby third. A very deserving winner

Rowe and Allen will be up there, but Eagles don't win enough and Tigers will share the votes.

Dogs have won enough games and even when they have lost, he will still poll a few 2 and 1 preference votes.

He will have plenty of 3 vote games and I think he'll actually win it comfortably.

He dominated the SANFL Now POTY voting and wins that by a country mile.

Sound reasoning, fair prediction I think.

Not bad ;)

What surely is a record is 5 BOGs in a row....just WOW.

Harry sets the blueprint for so many others. Hes not tall, hes not quick, but his preparation for this season was amazing. He played a fair bit at Ressies level last year, and whilst he was injured early, his disposal was an issue for him at League level.
Always had plenty of stamina, but he spent a lot of time studying the game in the off-season, looking at where he should run and how he could be more effective. I think so many players and Clubs concentrate on team setups and all-in fitness programmes, but this attention to individual development is an eye-opener.

Bays top for majority of the season and clearly the best side going around, polled the equal lowest number of club votes?

South v North Round 8.

Sproule 2 votes. Thinking to myself, I think he did not play the second half. Had a check. Off at the 18 minute mark of the second quarter,

Did not make the 6 best players named by the coach (who would with less than half a game?)

I wonder who was supposed to get the votes?

Some time ago I heard a story/rumour that Russel Ebert once got a best on ground vote when he only played the first quarter. Only a rumour mind you.
