Miss it though. “Heritage” is increasingly irrelevant in PAFC’s presence in the SANFL.

Probably fair to say, not being able to see the score on that board wasn't always a bad thing for visiting fans. :D

Was there actually a game played or was everyone just looking at the scoreboard? :?

Yeah, I’m confused too, since I thought ’NTTAWWT’ stood for ‘Next Tuesday’s Trialmatch Against Woodville West Torrens’.

Not that there's anything wrong with that

Game was played.
Always good to win there and scoreboard reflected the play IMO.
Thought we were in control for most of the game and thought Port were fairly average and that our bigger bodies really was a big advantage. Too often Port players were knocked off the contest or we broke multiple feeble tackles. Port don’t seem to have any system at all and their fitness seemed quite ordinary aswell. Best 5 or 6 players on the ground probably belonged to Norwood, Grigg and Douglas especially looked a class above. For Port Bonner got a stack of it but many little cheap ones and didn’t have a huge impact, Hartlett tried his guts out all day and was probably their best IMO. Not sure if anyone really is deserving of a call up though

So, your blokes went into the game more "pumped"* then? ;)

All those big bodied blokes with AFL experience certainly were an advantage.

Yeah, there were a couple of Port fans near us going off their tree all day especially about Grigg. One kept whinging about Ken’s tactics filtering down and how their fitness team must be crap if a fat pig like Grigg can run them off their feet all day :)

Certainly a clear advantage over the younger mids Port ran through there. Norwood looked bigger and stronger at every midfield contest.

Is there any particular reason a yellow footy was used ?

Yeah maybe, South v Crowserves started at 2.30 and used a red footy. Maybe 2.30 is the cut off for red balls.
