Location, cost, standard of footy and having a beer with mates are high on my list of priorities when considering what game to watch.

Been doing it for the last 4 seasons, good footy to watch, beer and food prices a hell of a lot cheaper and alot of good banter :D

The SANFL side i support being pissweak also comes into consdieration

That's a good point about food and drink prices. Drinks at SANFL games are the same prices as at Adelaide oval.

If the club's could lower their prices and admission was dropped to $10 and this was actually advertised by the SANFL I reckon that could get some more people through the gates!

AO drink prices are the most expensive in the land!
Ridiculous.

Must have to pay their new staff lots? ;)

Yeah fair enough I may have over exaggerated but $10 for a can of johnnies at Noarlunga is pretty steep I reckon.

If the sanfl wants to entice fans back it should look at lowering some drink prices, maybe they could even have a drink of the round which could be a couple of bucks cheaper. They have to do something different otherwise I can't see the crowds getting any bigger!

$13.90 @ Adelaide Oval

But yeah I agree with you, quite often I decide to go to the pub instead of the footy as I can drink a beer i enjoy at $5.50 a pint as opposed to a poor choice of shit beers in cans at the footy for $8. Especially considering cans of beer were $3 ten years ago, its ridiculous.

With two posts like this, it's no wonder the SANFL is dying. But tell me again it's the AFL clubs fault...

When did the location of games change? 5 games ago you won a flag and now you prefer to watch amateurs.

This brings into question just how "died in the wool" you are.

Well the AFL clubs is the only reason I dont go.
But when you throw in all those other cost factors it just gives people more reasons not to go.

Seems like you're just looking for a reason not to go

Not at all.
Get rid of the reserves and ill happily go back to watching glenelg week in, week out.
Cost of food/drink doesnt impact me as I dont do a lot of it at the footy.

There are lots of things that can be improved but the only reason I attend a lot less games and spend a lot less money at my club is because of the AFL reserves inclusion. Well maybe except for today when Im too hungover to get out of bed but the SANFL cant do much about that.

So you're protesting by not attending and in turn killing your league. That'll learn em

Whereas turning a competition into a practice does no damage whatsoever? If people are unhappy with a product they should be prevented from protesting against it for fear of damaging said product?
OK, got it.

Ok mate. You better find an amateur side to support as your SANFL side won't have a league to play in soon enough.
I understand not attending the games against the AFL sides but to not attend all together is damaging your club.

So be it.
They didnt listen to the concerns or answer any questions on the information nights...
The club believed the Crows money was the be all and end all.
I should sue the club for all the money I spent going every week for 30+yrs....

Yep, a bit the same. Would rather the comp fold than see the Ravens or Power reserves ever win a flag

Would have been a new record low today at Richmond.
Well done to the two Crows supporters barracking for their team.
I've heard more noise at the cinema than what I heard at the footy today :D
