He's a very important player to our structures and he links up so well especially when we are coming out the defensive half

Six of his 31 hit outs were directly to advantage - the same as the entire Port team.

Impressive numbers from Overall in the ressies. Not the fact he failed to score, but his work-rate up the ground and eight tackles!

Eddy was more productive than Cross in the midfield today...

Joel Cross - 0.1 score, 16 disposals, 2 clearances, 1 inside 50, 6 cont poss

Brett Eddy - 3.2 score, 16 disposals, 3 clearances, 2 inside 50s, 12 cont poss (equal team high)

Goes to show that we got some depth and blokes who can rotate through the midfield more.

Means we don't have to rely on Cross and Liddle as much in therr

Great win by the Panthers and a great celebration on the Saturday night by all reports. :)
