Fantastic. Then they won't mind if I hook a few goldies out of the tin -

Who remembers Woodville / West Torrens / Fitzroy / South Melbourne .
With a team named Woodville West Torrens playing in the SANFL it think there's a chance that one or two on the list won't be forgotten
Seriously, I hope the Bay's survive. It's bad enough losing Port Adelaide, and Woodville merging with West Torrens, without losing Glenelg too.

Sadly you could see this coming 4 years ago and nothing was done then, only dug a bigger hole

...or Port in the early 80's, South, Sturt, North & also North Melbourne, Richmond, Footscray, Hawthorn, Melbourne were all "dead horses" in your opinion too?

Will chuck a gold coin in a tin on Monday!
McDermott wrote an article in the paper today about it.
I don't think McGuiness will make an appearance anywhere for a long time.
Spargo wrote:I asked the question today to 3 different, independent, unbias people as to why the SANFL can't pay Glenelg their share of the sale of Footy Pk up front to help pay the debts & provide financial stability.
One was pretty sure the money from the sale was coming through bit by bit from the property developers with more $ to come when the housing is actually built & sold.
All of them were pretty sure the SANFL couldn't do it off their own bat as the bank account is a pretty bare after majorly bailing out Port.
Can someone confirm/deny?
