Struth. Not the result I was hoping for.
Sounds like we were never in it.

Why's that?

Becaue he shows a bit of passion and flair for kicking a goal?

Heaven forbid...

There is a time and place for flair Phil, but when the game is dead and buried, is certainly not one of them......

In number two's defence he was receiving a lot of helpful advise from across the fence. Snouts pocket is always a good spot for opposition players to have a shot

Good value seeing players get some helpful guidance from the locals there. Also good that most Snouts (bar the odd sook) take it well if an opponent dobs one from there.

So, he was copping a serve as he lined up, then the previously vocal locals piped down after he kicked it?
I think the relevance of the goal would be irrelevant in that situation, right? Good on him for poking fun at them.

Lets be fair, they're Glenelg fans, they don't need any further ridicule.

This is sadly the case, but didn't we have some fun?

You'll likely never experience it. ;)

He showed a flair for completely f***ing up two running shots at the northern end.

If you want your players celebrating and carrying on like they've just put their team into a grand final when they're getting done by the Cellar Dwellers of the past few years then that's cool...Sure the Gowans boys would have pulled his head if they saw that...

At least the only time we sing the song on the oval is after a Grand Final win. But I guess your club wouldn't know much about them.

Also had to laugh at the intelligent Glenelg supporter that was telling Central supporters to look at the ladder at the end of the game. Unless spoons are the goal we're still above you on the ladder mate.

Sadly, winners are grinners. Losers can do as they please.
