first I have heard of the charity match

I saw it on Facebook. The power of social media will come through.

I saw nothing from the SANFL Facebook page.

Through the social media streams that are targeted at the relevant market - The Dogs fans...

http://www.cdfc.com.au/club-events/novi ... delaide-3/

It was on their FaceBook page, Twitter feed website and Members Email...

Not sure promoting it to other clubs supporters, bar South's, is going to achieve mass numbers of neutral fans heading out to the Ponderosa...

FOOTeTIMES has also promoted it, as the site does for all teams, throughout the Daily Updates posts...

This is a huge game for us.

Our record at the Ponderosa is absolutely shocking must win and get a break on some of the other teams.

Team looks settled with a bit of depth in the ressies.

Hollywood to nail 6 goals and we win!!!

I see that the Integrity Cup is the televised match this week. Starting early in order to please the media lapdogs of the league's AFL masters. The irony is not lost on me.

Its not like we are bending over.

But we do have to stop the game at the 10 and 20 minute mark of each quarter so they can run an AFL promo.

Fairly ordinary game in-front of a small crowd. Just 23 scoring shots combined in what was a reasonable day for footy (breeze across the ground though)

Just 4 goals after 1/4 time for South a worry. Was good to see Eddy find some form, but lacked support.

South have only played decent footy in patches this year, and have made hard work of beating ordinary sides in recent weeks. A couple of true tests coming up in the next fortnight with the Legs and Bloods to see where we're really at because 2nd spot is flattering us.

Centrals had a dip but seemed to drop a lot of marks. Jansen with the game equalling goal with only a minute or two to go.

Centurion the main winner on the day. 8)

Lucky to come away with the draw.

Thought centrals really took it up to us today when I think our mindset was it was going to be a walk in the park.

Hard to pick a good player today Gotch , Rose and Crabb my best. Eddy 4 goals but needs help ! Can't just rely on him.

Many players went missing today and a few did not step up to the challenge when the heat was turned up. Many just coasted along !

Can not put this effort in against Legs this Friday night or it could really get ugly.
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Obviously we are a developing team but for the most part played in front and weren't rewarded. Heartening that in this weakened state we can still take it up to a better credentialed side particularly when we are tackling so well and the umps decide not to pay holding the ball. Retzlaff has the ball taken away in the goal square after out bodyiing opponent killed us.
