Agreed- I think Mirvac did an excellent job with Waverley and there is no reason footy park couldnt turn out to be something similar.

I wonder if the SANFL will lobby with the state govt to have a portion of a stand heritage listed, similar to the KG Luke stand at Waverley?

The Footy park precinct would be lucky to be a quarter of the size of the VFL park precinct. I reckon they'll have to go upwards to maximise their revenue.

Oh absolutely- VFL park's landspace is uncomparable. What i was angling at was the design- townhouses, community leisure areas and adelaides training facility (albeit on a much smaller scale)

Still a massive parcel of land out there, assuming all they keep is the training facility and an oval.
