North won last week too sunshine.
Been critical for 2 or 3 years, just like I was of North under Daniel Healy.
Whichever side it is that plays that god awful crap that sends it own supporters away from the game is irrelevent.
Anyone who supports that sort of 18 man behind the football crap is clueless.

Sunshine, have not been called that in 30 years ....wow you must be old

Quite simply we were not good enough to beat Norwood today and they would have beaten every other SANFL team. Blame Collins all you like but we were outplayed

Very old, seeing West's style of play 2 or 3 times a year for the last 3 years has aged me 50 years.
Poor Westies supporters I saw at the game looked over 300! ;)

West were very undisciplined early on.
Gave away several stupid frees and penalties

Norwood's biggest enemy is complacency...

If they put 8 past North in the first term and then put the car in park, North will punish them and get back in the game.

Norwood can't afford to think they've got this won already...

We must be doing something right, top three past two years. Players need to take the next step which a lot of them can.

Keep praying for that Rooster miracle. I reckon The Bloods will win next week.

West didn't flood their numbers back, maybe this contributed to the 8 goal opening quarter. West played with more of a conventional forward set up, just skills were terrible and could hit a target (in fact west couldn't get their hands on the balll and when they did the pressure from Norwood was too good causing west to turn it over.

Agree, Collins didn't lose this game, wouldn't have mattered who was coaching. Norwood were brilliant

Disappointing we took our foot off their throat and starting lairising, kicked 6.14 after 1/4 Time and missed some absolute sitters. Scoreboard flattered West, should of been a 100+ margin. Thommo, Grigg and Suckling were awesome today, dodnt think we had too many passengers today. Will be cheering on Westies next week. I believe their were 2 Westies reported today, any confirmation on this?
And thanks to Collins for providing some ammunition during the week, I know a few of the guys were not impressed at all on his dig at Georgiou, maybe wise to worry about his own side and especially their lack of discipline

Replayed on 5aa to Nathan Bassett post match.

Would love to be able to post a link for it on here.

Has to be heard to be believed.

He gave Norwood 'feedback' apparently

Just got the job done, no fuss we have the real job in 2 weeks.
West's skills ( like last week ) were horrible. Having said that I expect West have the game to beat North like they did last year.
Very cheap shot on Georgeou behind the play off the ball. That guy will get 4 to 6 !

Great first quarter by the Legs. Pity we couldn't continue it but Westies kept on battling but couldn't make any inroads. Warren was very good early as was Dumont and Pfeiffer. Hope Zorzi pulls up ok.

As disappointing as the 2nd half of the 1st semi was, I agree with the comments about North hopefully winning next week. A Norwood v North GF would get 30K.

I had a members pass so went to the top of the members stand for something different for the Norwood v West game. Decided that I'd wait till quarter time to see how it goes. Was about twice as worse than I'd expected at quarter time and I left.

As much as Collins has achieved at West, you're never going to win a flag playing that sort of football. Norwood are defensive too, but can attack when they want, and play with some guts. Under Collins, Westies have to rely on the other side making a heap of mistakes which just wasn't going to happen today. And they are dreadful to watch.

Can't see Westies winning next week.

Hartlett wasn't reported for the 'incident' with Georgiou. Most scribes that saw it said there was nothing more than a free down field...

Hartlett was reported, apparently, for verbally abusing the umpires, not for the first time this year, as well...

I think Norwood played somewhere between 60-70% of their best and almost won by 10 goals !!!

Yes, we asked the same question up in the RPH commentary box. Not sure why they didn't?

I think West will win next week but they will again be smashed bhy Norwood. i am assuming because they have been told how to play and do not play a natural game. A joke for all involved. Apart from the 1st quarter the next 3 were pretty close. Norwood have as much to blame for the style of play.

How many times are West going to bring this up.
30 scoring shots today, had we kicked straight the margin would of been 100+
We scored more in 1 quarter than what you did in the whole game.
The last 3 quarters were boring because we put the cue in the rack.
At least your improving, last 3 finals against us you have kicked 2,3 and now 6 goals
