Agreed TSG, head down going for the ball and Parry hits him high.
Hope he gets atleast gets 1 game, the dirty prick doesnt deserve a chance to go to country league or ammos where he can belt some poor kid.
The umpiring was pathetic, blatant cheating against North today, Eagles got plenty of goals from imaginary free kicks.
Wont be going for you guys next week though, we have Westies well and truly covered so id rather face them again ;)

The umpire was only 15 yards away - if it was high or malicious, surely he would've paid a free kick or reported him.

Will be reported and suspended. Got Boles in the head. No intention of going for the footy. Went straight for the player who had their head over the footy. Just because the umpire didn't pay a free kick just reinforces how bad the umpires were. Paid some of the softest free kicks I've ever seen today, yet Boles didn't get one for that.

Will be interesting what happens with Parry. At the end of the game he looked distraught. Retiring?

While it wasn't as funny as Norwood being knocked out of any finals campaign... it was still fun!

Thanks North! :-)

8 goals to 2 up with 4 mins to go in second quarter, game should have been nailed by Eagles but North kept themselves in it with 2 late goals. Unfortunately, with our slow midfield, the second half was inevitable. Finished where we deserved to.
Future looks bright with many good juniors in seconds and 18's to come through but in short term MUST recruit some quick on ballers.
Used 46 players this year and I'm sure this contributed to our inconsistency during the year and in individual games.
Parry will be a huge loss and have we seen the last of Luke Powell? Could Ben Grieger be a welcome inclusion next year?
Farewell Crows and PAP players who have generally served us well over the years but thank goodness we won't have to put up with that 'will they, won't they' play at this time of the year next season.
Luck is where opportunity meets preparation

I doubt it.

Not sure he'd be the type of player we'd need now anyhow. I know the eagles are going hard at enticing one of either Gray or Kirkwood to the eagles so maybe concentrate on landing one of them first.

Wasn't the head. Maybe the shoulder. If he really gets him high, with that sort of force, he gets concussed or breaks his neck. The North guy was fine 10 minutes later. Hard hit though.

Dont like the money grubbing slut and and he shouldn't be playing but I agree, the Parry bump was fine.
Not even a game in the AFL IMHO.

Contrast my 'usual reply' - telling how I see it - right or wrong, you can agree with it or disagree with it - with your diatribe.

By the way, plenty copped a 'decent bump' from Lindner, M. Francou, Simms, just to name a few. And believe it or not, Simms never wacked anyone when he was at Torrens!

When was the last time North won a final in white shorts?
I'm guessing close to 40 years?
