Dunno about that, I want West to win and it has nothing to do with my team as we'll be out of the comp on Sunday night.
2 nil I'm predicting.

I didn't think any neutrals would be too thrilled about another Norwood v West final.

Pretty sure no one cares apart from the supporters of those teamsn playing.

I think the bloods will take of the Eagles quite comfortably. Not sure many teams will get near Norwood though.

Based on what I saw in the last few weeks West would win by around 6 goals.

How about last weekend?

I rather go into finals with winning form then losing form, no matter how many changes there are in a team.

Last weeks game was no indication for this match, based on the other two matches this year against the Bloods when it was fair dinkum , you would have to say that Wests are a 5 goal+ better side than us.
If at first you don't succeed , then destroy all evidence that you tried in the first place

Can someone confirm confirm whether Paul Stewart will be playing?

I heard he has flown back early after the Power game but not sure whether that is front up for the Eagles or for other reasons. Can't really see the Power being that generous but you never know.......

Would be a very handy in.

Regardless, I see Westie's midfield being too strong and will cause them to wind comfortably by 5 goals. Against other sides I consider our forward line gives us the advantage but I think West's group of tall defenders will easily cover Ainger, Staple and Salter.

That was a heavy knock, all eyes on the ball, I thought Aingers leap into the pack was a bit reckless, he is prone to being late into a pack.

West cannot afford to lose Ferguson during this finals campaign.

Well fought out West to the end, the Eagles can prove their worth next wee.

Aniger always flies 2 or 3 deep into a pack, took some nice hangers when at South that way.....

He is a forward and its his job as a forward to catch them!

Don't have a problem with Ainger, that's footy.

Just a side note at the Doggies supporters that said we were "scared" to face them this week.

What a massive opportunity wasted by the Eagles. West did well to come back and fully deserve their win, but it will be one that got away from an Eagles point of view. Not dissimilar to last years finals loss to North.

Jarrad and Powell were outstanding. Often experience comes to the fore and again it was the experienced heads that got the job done. Goldsworthy and Sumner were disappointing. Need these type to lift to be a really good team. Westies were able to win the game because they killed our 3 tall forwards of Ainger, Salter and Staple. These three guys were hopeless today and had no impact whatsoever, besides the clumsy attempted mark by Ainger that knocked out Ferguson. I hope he will be ok. Hall and Poole the only threats up forward, our two smallest players.

Tuck is a class above and thought he willed his side to victory today, including a stint in the ruck against Parry in the 3rd quarter that got them going. So good watching blokes like Tuck and Powell go at it.

Given players lost at the end of the season and players lost through injury this year, it has been a great effort by the Eagles to get this far. They proved today they are good enough to contest against West and hopefully will be good enough next week to get another crack at them.

There will be at least one change. Heath won't be able to get up for the rest of the finals as he will need ample time to recover from Mad Monday. Like I said 3 months ago, Heath and Mitchell should have been played in the Reserves or sent to the Magpies. At least they won't be seen in an Eagles guernsey again.
