We can't get close to Glenelg or Sturt, our only chance this week is if the Norwood team spent 6 hours before drinking Coopers, even then they'd probably still win in a canter.

After the week off and with a heap to play for (and, let's face it, plenty of talent on the park if they get their shit together), I would happily wager that North will be in front at quarter time. What happens after that, is another question.

A PROJECT to build a new clubroom at Norwood Oval will receive a $1 million funding injection if the Labor Party is re-elected on Saturday.

Adelaide federal Labor MP Kate Ellis announced the funding pledge at The Parade ground this morning.

"I'm very pleased to commit to such a worthwhile project that will deliver a significant community benefit for the Norwood area," Ms Ellis said.

"Norwood Football Club is a great club and an iconic venue.

"We want to make Norwood an even better club and it starts with improving its facilities."

Norwood, Payneham & St Peters Council, which owns the oval, and the Norwood Football Club are in negotiations about a major redevelopment of the oval's clubroom.

If Labour is elected.
If 3 wise men come from the east.
If pigs fly.
Might as well promise to build the whole thing for all the chance Labour have of winning !

For four years the Norwood clubrooms has been on the drawing board and under discussion. In that time no government funding, not 1c was offered by Federal or State. Now just days before a Federal election, Kate Ellis is offering funding. Sorry Kate, you have shown your true colours by not showing any interest in the Norwood Football Club or the Norwood community over the last four years. I couldn't care less about your funding offer, Norwood clubrooms or no Norwood club rooms.

Yeah Kate, I'd love to spend a night with you, but fair suck of the old slips cordon.

Anyway, I'd love to pound North Adelaide into oblivion on Sunday.

Ah, they're playing us at the Parade, been a while between drinks, we seem to only play them at the cricket oval.

Should get Dawe, Aish and Suckling back this week and then have to find room for Zorzi, Newton, Panos, Grigg and Stevenson for finals. Competition for spots will fierce

Out of those 8 names, I wouldn't be finding room for two of them unless they earned it and I'm not talking the AFL guys.

If Trigg tells the truth.

If North beat Norwood.

If Central fans get the chip off their shoulders.

She's seen your form, it doesn't take much for the people of Norwood to change their vote.
