Is that yellow guy the Glenelg CEO running for the exit?

or coach?

if someone was to list the coaches/CEO's/Presidents of the GFC, it would take them 10 years, and would stretch from the East coast of Australia to the West- and it that time, Glenelg still wouldn't have won a Premiership

The old "he is leaving for family reasons" given by the GFC and the President says that the club are supporting his decision blah blah! Why don't they come out and tell us the real reasons! My mail is he was pushed big time!

He must be going real bad if he loses his job and Massie keeps his!

Find it hard to believe there was anything sinister in it, him and Chiggy were both together watching the game on Saturday.

Yep. Also staying on to consult would suggest that is not the case either. He did not appoint Massie either.

In those sorts of roles there is generally a handover period with the new person starting and given the outgoing person has to serve a notice period, that being as a "general rule" especially after resignation as opposed to sacking, which allows hopefully a replacement to be appointed and a handover to take place.

Consultant is a very bandied about word in business including Football Clubs. A bit like people who have the title Project Manager!

What will he be Consulting on? How not to do the CEO role?

Nelson was the CEO when Massie was appointed - he started in 2010, Mickan's last full year as coach.

Unfortunately when the team is beaten each week, there isnt a great enviroment, family reasons is generally the line constantly given.Mark Mickan did bring some stability for a few years but that fell apart in the end.Hopefully let Massie coach until the end of year and then make a new coaching appointment.
