When OTR first rung he said he'd been kicked out of the Glenelg Football Club and my first impression was to say "Uh oh, what have you done now?" LOL

Might be a good thing. Less hungover tomorrow.

It was upstairs and a real alert too so we were told, there was supposedly a smell of smoke coming from somewhere upstairs! Probably good timing as a former NAFC Premiership Back Pocket player who hates Michael Aish was trying to force me to drink even more bundy!

When we got evacuated the solo singer playing in the main bar to his credit took his guitar out to the car park and continued to play!

Always a good social day at the bay - great set up with the bar outside the front of the club and great to catch up with old mates from both teams.

A club went hard after Josh this year apparently. No doubt he will end up coaching in some form at an afl club in the future. Let's not worry about that sort of stuff until the end of the year.

True - but it highlights which of the two teams that played today has a coach that has future going forward.

Josh is contracted for next year so unless he grabs a flag this year it will be unfinished business and he will stay most likely?

Take a chill pill! Talk about Francou is relevant as is talk about Massie because they both coached the two sides playing today!

Well Massie is out of contract at the end of this year. If Francou goes then you could snap up Mass before he re-signs :D

Great day at the bay! So good to see a healthy SANFL crowd enjoying footy as it should be. And well done to GFC, great place to watch footy.

As per usual North struggled to really put the bays to the sword, if we kicked straight we couldve be top tonight! To Glenelg's credit they aplied some good pressure in the 3rd qrt which put the brakes on us, but they couldnt really score themselves.

Big game next week with Dogs winning last 4.

Thought Massie had another year after this?

Mind you I'm sure Phil Herden has some stats about pet memberships and free passes at Woodville that somehow puts North to shame. ;)
Comfortable win, never looked in doubt with the Bays having a strong breeze in the 1st and 3rd quarters.
Great win by the ressies too killing the Bays by ten goals when we were 6th and they were 3rd I think.

North had the biggest crowd at North games? ;)

One incident I found baffling was North kicking a point in the 2nd quarter with Ben Mules and Matt Campbell following the ball thru the points, Mules picked up the ball quickly and ran out between the goals to kick the ball out, it was clear that Mules was looking for a quick kick to a spare Bay player on the flank, Campbell saw this and followed Mules out (while still in the goal square) and put Mules under pressure for the kick! Couldnt believe he was allowed to be in the goal square while Glenelg were kicking out, surely that is against the rules?

Umpire should have pulled this up before Mules kicked it - at the very least called it back for the kick to be taken again.
