I don't think even South would be able to blow 100k to move Ronnie on one year early!
No way he walks either..... so South and Bays will be interesting to watch going into 2014.
It would be something if changes were not made at one or both!

It would be nice to be surprised at South losing the game or the crowd being so low. But the biggest indictment on the club is despite the dogs being their most vulnerable since 1999 the feeling a loss and pathetic crowd feels like the expected result.

Hard to know whether to blame or feel sorry for the fans. Ultimately the members control a club, so is it time the fans looked at what contributions they can make to improve the club? For far too long, mediocrity at South has been applauded as a step in the right direction. If you are satisfied with finishing 4th or 5th, you won't get to 1st. We learned our lessons after 30 years. South haven't in 50.

Don't you worry I'm absolutely peeved at this seemingly endless rut we are in but what do we do?
Sack the coach? Again? I'm not happy with the style of footy currently being played .
I believe the club needs to hold a meeting to address the concerns of members an supporters and be honest and transparent in what and how we are going about fixing a season that is looking dim!
Yep they are payed the bucks to make the calls but maybe they need to hear from the members what we are feeling.
I'm watching our thin supporter base shrink with every game and that's not because they are fair weather supporters its simply because yet again we are pretty ordinary and they've had enough!
Finals appearances once in a blue moon is not good enough.

For the Dogs it was probably there best all round performance for the year, our spell of bad football was the least its been all season.

I thought we were really good in the first half and probably should have been 5-7 goals up. We had all the play but unfortunatly we lacked that key forward inside 50, Hewitt who was lucky to get a game had a shocker and was continusly out marked and offered very little when the ball hit the deck.

Was great to see Claughton come into the side which allowed Hardy to play in defence. Hardy had probably his best game for the year no suprise that he didnt have to spend time in the ruck. The back 6 which had Hardy, Thomas, Nash, Prior, Waldhutter and Reichart in it looked very good as a unit. I really rate Prior and Waldhutter when they get to play in the right role not playing on the KPP.

Went and had lunch and a few beers in the South Clubrooms before the game and once again it was a brilliant meal and great service, really enjoy spending time down there and is one of my favourite away trips every year.

We take on the Eagles next week, should be a tough one especially if we lose Henderson and Callinan, not sure we can kick a winning score if we dont have them two playing but thats next week, very happy to be sitting 3-4 and in the five.

Look, I understand you can't hack the fact we saw this coming years ago, but we had 9 years of Ronnie and his impact was only going to last so long before what's happening happened!
His excellent record at the Eagles was more to do with a quality group of tough minded types like Cicca, Powell, Treeby, Lindsay, Grocke, S.Hall, McKenzie, Dobrowski, Colville & P.Fiacchi who endured losing Grand Finals.
They stayed at the Eagles for each other not Fuller. The club needed a Flag and they were good enough to stay the coarse together despite Ron.
Cicca went to Geelong for a few months once out of pure frustration with the coach!
I'll say it once again.... the 06 Flag was won with Fuller on his last chance and vulnerable enough to allow MacGowan, Norman and Dickie in as his assistants. The Players loved it and we played accordingly.
What's the quality of South's assistants now? But much more importantly, would Fuller be listening to them? That's the Key heh ;)

Concerning for me the reliance we have on Wingy kicking goals.
Although, he'll probably find it hard to get back in the Crows next week after today's win, he'll surely get another run at some point.
