After watching the replay im thinking it is something structral as there didnt seem to be much if any collision in the marking contest where he went down injured.

fingers crossed its nothing to serious.

Suspected ACL was what I heard.

I spoke to Tom, sitting on the bench, at the 3/4 time break yesterday, and he thinks it isn't an ACL tear, himself...

Didn't feel a pop, but certainly twisted / jarred it. Will have scans tomorrow, to find out more, obviously...

Once again Central managed to produce their best and worse football all in the one half. The gap is far to wide and until we can bridge the gap we are going to be no more than a 5th placed side at best.

Joshy Glenn what a superstar, 35 possies and watching the replay i reckon 30-32 of them were effective. Luckily for Central supporters unless he can develop into a midfielder i dont think AFL clubs will take him as a defender, he is very very small.

Seb Guilhaus is quickly becoming my fav footballer, yeah he doesnt do alot around the ground but boy he has a crack. He knows his limitations when he has the ball and his rucking is first class. If he can continue to go forward and kick the occasional goal he will be a beauty.

Collier going down is going to kill us, the second ruckmen HAS to come in now. Hardy will have to play at full back, there is no one else (Templeton is to small to take on the big key forwards especially when Reichart and Prior are generally undersized as well)

There is a fair bit of love for Reicharts game on the cdfc forum. Personally i disagree big time, Duldig kicked 4 goals, could have kicked 6-7 if not for a couple of set shot misses, and spent 10-15 minutes off the ground getting a broken nose cleaned up. Not good enough especially when your meant to be an out and out negator.

As each week goes by Waldhutter and Prior impresses me more and more i think they can turn out to be a very handy SANFL footballers.

Anyway we got the 2 points, we cant afford any more slip ups so we need to head down to Noarlunga play our best and get another win on the board. I think South will be very tricky for us, especially with their big forwards like Wundke.

Another great game yesterday by Josh, a clear BOG performance from the young lad yesterday. Well done.

Is it just me, or are there similarities to how Josh has sprung onto the League scene, as there was with Paul Marschall this time last year?

I know Josh is a left footer, Paul was a right, but there just seems to be some familiarity about the two.

Brayden O'Hara just mentioned on the 5AA SANFL Show that Josh reminds him of Paul Marschall as well, also pointed out that he wears number 34, like Paul did as well.

There is a fair bit similar, they seem to move very similar, have similar kicking styles and both seem very composed when in possesion.

In saying that Marschall plays more as a third tall fdefender (his form slumped last year when we got injuries and he was forced to play on the KPP) while Josh Glenn is an out and out small defender.

Had some okay moments. Still looks like he is adjusting to the pace of the SANFL, albeit at reserves level...

Looking better with each run, but not sure he did enough in the 2's yesterday to come into consideration for League selection next weekend...

Fair enough i was hoping he had a good'en, i reckon Meulendykes spot may be up for grabs this week and i reckon Potter is a perfect fit for what we need.

At 180cm, I disagree with that. Glenn proved, at times, yesterday that he can play tall or small. I know that Josh is now being more closely watched, and enquired about, by AFL scouts.

There you go, his taller than I thought but in saying that a tall forward at AFL level is at very least 190cm at least.

Yeah, agree. At one stage yesterday, because of Collier going down, Josh had to man up on 200+cm giant, Angus Graham...

Josh Played all his senior footy the last few years as an onballer and he has been playing half back / wing this year for centrals! From what i seen on Saturday he spent majority of the game on the wing and played extremely well! So im not sure the out an out defender is absolutely the correct call but he has spent time down there

Sure, good points, Billsy...

What was the story with Josh over the last couple of years? Wasn't he at Central a few season's back, playing underage? Where did he play last year? Is it true he was told to leave the club and then asked to come back out again, now the rest is history?

Played Div 4 at Elizabeth last year. Not sure of why.
Very happy to see him doing so well this year.

Yeah good call, sorry I meant as a defender he is purely an out and out small defender.

The last two games Lairdy has thrown Glenn in the forward lines in the last quarter as well, where he has been pretty effective.
