Re your comment LEH - I can't recall the "Crowing Rooster" for at least 2 seasons maybe more? Mind you it is hard to hear anything from the Taj!

Was there in 2011 - not last year. Last time I was there, it 'crowed'. Would be happy to see/hear it gone though ;)

Unfortunately the crowing rooster was there in the game against Norwood. These days though it is like Joffa's gold jacket and only appears when the game appears won.

I have always cringed when I heard it. It was actually the brainchild of the greatest, Barrie Robran, I guess even he can make one mistake in life.

Well despite an improved sound system I am fortunate that I cannot hear it at the Taj! Or maybe it is the fact that we are so distracted by the "interesting" conversations that take place on the Hill at each game that I can't hear it?

North’s running game is great when they get it together, but backing each other up under pressure has left them vulnerable this year and has resulted in poor delivery skills that has lead to some bad/ugly/frustrating turnovers. Match fitness has been good which means we have petrol in the tank to run the game out to the last siren, but so have the Eagles. I can see this as a game of errors and determined by pressure on the ball carrier. The side with the least errors will get the points, but the Eagles may have the body strength to force more North errors and that too will affect the outcome. LJ will be missed because he has the strength to match and not be brushed aside. Eagles by 5 points.

Big game for both teams.

Heard it on the TV a couple of times in the Norwood game.

I think the Panther roar worked OK ... just never enough goals to use properly.

North don't need it for mine, they grandstand alway sets up a cheeer after every goal ... at Prospect you dont need to manufacture crowd support, it is already there.
