Do you mind if I post on topic lads? I'll only be a few sentences, then you can get back to discussing whether or not dedja's outfit had the bum cheeks cut out.

Glenelg was crap. Forwards lacking in skill, defence largely non-existent. Lost count of the number of times Central players waltzed the ball up the ground untouched.

Central was also crap - though not as crap as Glenelg, it must be said. The dynasty is well over, that much is obvious. Yet for 3 and a half quarters they were all over the Bays. 5 points up at half time, they should have been 5 goals up and the contest over.

Glenelg however looked to be a lot fitter than Central - I was impressed with Glenelg's running for much of the match, and little else. In the final 15 minutes of the match this is what mattered. Central players were chased down and tackled right in front of goal - twice. Glenelg players managed to beat Dogs to the contests as they tired - the Bays got a sniff and lifted their heads.

Glenelg has a LOT of work to do - they were outplayed for most of the night, but still won.

Oh, and Weslo clearly don't administer IQ tests to potential job applicants, do they...

OK my views on the night!

The bays were the best of a bad bunch and won deservedly no arguments there.

WESLO when one of your staff tell patrons something and they adhere to it, it doesnt take another 3-4 Weslo staff flying in threating violence despite that intial Weslo staff telling them to relax etc etc.

We stood at the bay bistro outdoor area and had great banter all night including up to a including the last siren, it was all in a good laugh and never threatened to go any further.

To the 'neutral' fan 'with a long pony who decided he was a massive tough unit and started pushing people around who had there back turned while taking a p**s in the toilet because he didnt agree with them not liking AFL teams in the SANFL. Many thanks go out to the bay supporter who was also threatened for no reason at all who stood up for himself and managed to calm the situation.

YOUR DAY WILL COME!!!

Pretty free flowing game with little defensive pressure, but it was us (surprisingly) that wanted it more in the last 10 minutes.

Lewie Hender was BOG in my opinion, but only got 3rd best at the presso's. Amazingly Boyd only had 1 clearance and well held by Pitty.

Not sure Sat night footy works at the Bay, and after the flare that went off I dare say we wont be seeing the Dogs again at night again at the Bay.

Can we be certain it was a centrals fan who let the flare off? (remembering one of our lot let a flare off a season or two ago at the bay).
I thought the crowd figure was flattering with little atmosphere all night until the bays made their run late.
How we weren't 5-6 goals down at qtr time is beyond me, centrals must have had 70-80% of the play, same for the 2nd qtr apart from a 6-7 min period where we strung some good ball movement together and put pressure on the opposition (amazing what can happen when you move it quickly and go down the middle).
3rd qtr we were 1 goal away from being blown apart but kept finding away to stay in it. This no doubt gave the players confidence they were a big chance and it clearly showed. It was mentioned earlier how we ran the game out much better than centrals which is very true. Whilst obviously not the same central of the last decade, it was still nice to get one in the "w" column against them.
A few things I noted;
Centrals flooded for most of the night (can't recall seeing this from them too often).
Hender played a great 2nd half BUT he is still a lair!
Tony Dey continues to try and make the game all about him.
If we don't beat strut next week, last night will mean precious little.

SANFL fans shouldn't put up with this stupidity .. The SANFL becomes more meaningless and irrelevant to people every year unfortunately, and stupid incidents like this do nothing to help the situation.

Whomever is responsible for it is most likely there with mates - Hopefully one of them has enough nouse to talk him or her out of doing it again.
