I really dont know whats going on at the club at the moment.

We managed to win 8 premierships playing 2 specialist ruckmen yet all of a sudden the coaching panel have decided a two specialist ruckmen structure is out the window.

What i dont get is every trial we played two big men, they dominated the taps and we dominated the clearances. We get to round 1 and all of a sudden we decided to play the Ken Farmer Medalist as a second ruck.

We are playing probably the biggest forward line set up this week which we have struggled with the last 2-3 years and we now we are expecting two undersized inexperienced defender are going to have to do the job. Surely Osborn had to come in and Hardy to play where required whether that be forward or defence.

The other ruckman, Jack Osborn (Crows Rookie), must be injured as he is not named in the Dogs reserves, either...

I hope he is because there is no reason for him not to be in the side!

Huge Disadvantage my good friend, having the bye 2 seasons in a row in round 1.

Why has this happened SANFL?

But I think the Roosters have worked us out.

Roosters by 31 points.

Lets hope the roosters get the 1st round bye in 2014... ;)

Yeah, there is. If he isn't considered developed enough yet to play League footy, Roy wont pick him.

Roy and the selectors kept their fingers off the PANIC button as usual ... unlike some contributors who want to chop and change all the time. Guilhaus/Hardy did well last week and are likely to do well again.

Hardy did ok as second ruckmen but he could be the best forward or best defender in the comp if given the chance. They dont grow on trees, much easier to find a back up ruckmen, oh wait a sec we had one play ressies last week. ;)

Considering our last 4 performances for points have been ordinary maybe it is time to make a few changes and revert back to the systems which helped us achieve 12 straight GF's.

Josh Francou said on RPH recently Dogger that North actually requested the bye in Round 1 this year as to avoid the risk of having a bye in Round 2, so North's choice, not a decision of the League.

Partly correct - North only wanted to play the Easter Round 1 on the Thursday night and if that was not available then they requested the bye. I suppose we should be greatful for getting our second request?

That's because Francou had the foresight to know that ProsVegas would give the players the shits in the lead up to round 1.
