Puts a massive prize on gaining a higher seed in the final 5.

Will it just be for 2013 then all finals back to Adelaide Oval?

I hope so, I don't see why the higher-placed side should get more of an advantage. Aren't the finals supposed to be an even-playing field?

I think the timing is right to trial this in 2013. Hopefully top position gets home ground advantage.

When Adelaide Oval is ready in 2014 I hope they play all finals there, at least initially.

SIgh, not this again ... haven't won a flag for 26 years and have the 2nd highest attendances. Central have won 9 in 13 years and have shit attendances.

What was the question again? 8)

PS. when are you going back to work so you don't have so much time on your hands to post crap all day long? :-)

Good decision SANFL.

Should Norwood host a home final will the beer remain as Coopers only or will West End also be offered to help increase the crowd? :drinkers:

But no to being at the ground of the highest ranked team.

Ideally would be at a neutral and accessible ground.

Agree, Id have a double header at a neutral ground, Say Glenelg/Port and Norwood/Central @ Richmond would get 10k and be an amazing atmosphere.

Neutral grounds is ridiculous the higher ranked team plays the final on their home ground giving a financial bonus as another reward for finishing higher. Baseball has done this for a few years now and clubs clean up.
Obviously Sturt, should they ever make finals again would not qualify as they do not have an oval. Besides the local residents would complain.
